Aluminium 6082 Square Bars are composed primarily of aluminium (Al) with the following chemical composition: approximately 0.6-1.2% magnesium (Mg), 0.7-1.3% silicon (Si), and trace amounts of copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), and titanium (Ti). This alloy offers excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength (up to 290 MPa), yield strength (up to 230 MPa), and good elongation (up to 10-14%). Its good corrosion resistance, machinability, and weldability make it ideal for structural applications in the construction, transport, and engineering industries.
