Aluminium 1060 Hex Bars consist of about 99.6% pure aluminium, with small amounts of iron, copper, silicon, and other elements. This high level of purity gives them remarkable corrosion resistance and excellent electrical conductivity, making them perfect for electrical applications. Their mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of roughly 90–110 MPa and a yield strength of around 35–55 MPa. With good elongation (about 15–20%), Aluminium 1060 is highly ductile, making it easy to form and machine. While it may not be as strong as some other alloys, its superb workability and conductivity make it ideal for non-structural uses.
