Aluminium 1050 contains about 99.5% pure aluminium with small amounts of iron, silicon, copper, manganese, and zinc. It provides superior corrosion resistance in marine and industrial settings and is highly reflective to heat and light. The strength is 60–100 MPa, the range of elongation is 20–35%, and the Brinell hardness is approximately 27 HB. Thermal conductivity is about 222 W/m·K. It is a cold work-strengthened non-heat-treatable alloy that is simple to form, bend, and weld, and retain high ductility and a nice surface finish.
